Antidote To A Heavy Meal

Have you just indulged in a decadent meal? If so, consider fruits for dessert. Studies by the Journal of the American College of Nutrition showed that eating antioxidant-rich fruits, including berries, grapes, kiwi and cherries, helps minimize the free-radical damages that occurs after a meal.

Eating caloric meals, without antioxidant –rich food like fruits and vegetables, can have harmful-effects over time. So, always try to finish your meal with a generous portion of fruit.
